We are hoping to make the logistics of this weekend as easy and pain-free as possible. That being said, part of the beauty of the Tahoe area is the expansive lake and exploring the many neighborhoods surrounding it. We hope you have the time to make the full lake loop and check out each little town's unique charm! Erin and Tyler's nuclear families will be basing themselves in South Lake Tahoe at a VRBO house - most of the weekend's activities will take place on the south end of the lake. We recommend booking somewhere towards the south end of the lake for the most convenience.

Flight

Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO)

The closest airport is Reno (RNO), so we recommend flying into there - it's about a 1 hour or so drive to South Lake Tahoe. Alternatively, you can fly into Sacramento (SMF) with about a 2 hour drive.

This is a great way to keep groups or larger parties together - but beware, California does have some funky/strict rules for rental houses, so make sure you read the fine print (think strict noise volumes allowed, limits on cars in driveway, # of people in the house, etc.).
