FAQs

The Wedding Website of Erin Aster and Troy Aster
Question

Aster? What's with the last name?

Answer

Aster isn’t originally either of our last names—we chose it together as a shared name, rather than one of us taking the other’s. The aster is a small, star-like flower, similar to a daisy, named for its star-like appearance.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We’re keeping it to adults only so everyone can fully enjoy celebrating the day. We hope you can join us for a kid-free night of fun!

Question

What should we wear?

Answer

Dress Code: Semi-Formal Have fun dressing up but don't stress too much about looking incredibly posh and put together! Don't worry about colors, Erin and Troy won't be wearing traditional colors anyways.

Question

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Please resist the urge! We will be hiring professional photographers and providing photos to anyone who wants them, but your video recording could block someone else's view. (or the photographer)

Question

Is there a shuttle?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle doing rounds to and from the wedding stopping at The Courtyard Petaluma (in Petaluma) and El Pueblo Inn (in Sonoma). TIMING Courtyard Petaluma (Arrives 3:55pm - Departs 4:10pm) El Pueblo Inn (Arrives 4:35pm - Departs 4:55pm) Cornerstone Venue (Arrives 5:10pm - Departs 11:10pm)

Question

What weather should I expect?

Answer

It should be a lovely sunny California day, between 70-80 degrees.

Question

I have more questions!

Answer

No worries, if you have a question we didn't answer on the website please text or email either one of us :)
