Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Our ceremony will be held at Journey Bayless Church. After we say “I do,” we’ll continue the celebration with a social hour for all guests then cocktail hour and reception for family only at Silver Oaks Chateau — a beautiful venue about 30 minutes away.

What time should I arrive?

We kindly ask guests to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony to grab a seat and get settled before the big moment!

How should I dress?

Answer

Our dress code is formal — think suits, ties, and cocktail or floor-length dresses. It’s July, so light, breathable fabrics are encouraged (we don’t want anyone melting before dessert!).

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our reception will be adults-only so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. The only kiddos attending will be immediate family members involved in the day.

Warm and sunny — we’re talking Missouri summer heat! The reception will have indoor and outdoor areas, so dress comfortably and don’t forget to hydrate.

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

We will be having an hour long social hour in the church basement. There will be appetizers and drinks for everyone to enjoy.
