In 2015, the Thursday before Erin's birthday weekend, T.J. went to a work happy hour. He was almost ready to leave, until that red haired girl who use to work at the same company as him (although they didn't interact much) showed up in a white dress with a big smile. As the night went on, the crowd thinned out and three of them remained; Erin, T.J., and their friend Lisa. When they all left the bar Lisa pointed to another bar and suggested starting Erin's birthday celebration early. They agreed. Then, in one of the greatest displays of wingmaning ever, Lisa promptly got on a subway and went home. Erin and T.J. went to that bar, they talked and danced until they literally fell down. (We've already been practicing for the wedding!) After her birthday weekend, T.J. texted Erin asking if she wanted to get a drink. A few hours later she replied saying she couldn't because she had to babysit her cousins. He got the hint. It was disappointing, but at least she let him down easy. But the next week, Erin followed up asking T.J. if he still wanted to get that drink. It was mind blowing (who would have though she was actually babysitting her cousins?), but of course he agreed. Four years later, he asked her to marry him, and she immediately said YES!
