We met in middle school, in the same band though at the time, I didn't even know his name. I just knew Slater as "guy in the red hoodie"... and I had the biggest crush. He was a grade above me, and thanks to a mutual friend who clearly knew what they were doing, we were finally introduced. What started as a simple middle school crush quickly turned into something so much more. From band class to growing up side by side, we've spent years learning, laughing, and building a life together. What began with a red hoodie and a crush from afar turned into a forever kind of love. And the best part is, this is just the beginning. And yes....... He still looks good in red!!!
