Unfortunately, due to the venue location, and an open pool at the venue, we are opting for no children. The only children present will be those in the wedding party. Consider it Mom and Dad’s night out!
The location of the wedding is a private residence. Absolutely no one, under any circumstance, will have access to the residence. There will be super nice portable restrooms (not plastic bobs) available on site, with lighting, sinks etc.
Well, that’s the million dollar question. With the military travel ban extended until June 30, we feel we might be safest to get married in September. Unfortunately September is a busy month for people and we u understand changing the date means some may not be able to attend. We had to select the date that worked best for us and our family, mainly our squid serving in the Navy. Our new tentative date is September 5, 2020. We I’ll keep everyone posted on this date. Once we know, you’ll know.
YES! After very careful consideration, we have decided to move forward with our wedding on 9/5/20. We absolutely understand if you can no longer attend. It in no way changes how we feel about you, and we understand it no way changes how you feel about us. This is an unprecedented time and we are all trying to navigate and find some normalcy. We have taken extra precautions to ensure the safety of our guests. We are asking for people to sit within their households, coworkers amongst coworkers and so on. Masks are completely optional and we support your choice. Masks will be provided. We have opted to do family style dining as opposed to buffet, cupcakes instead of cake, and individual champagne bottles versus a bottle of champagne. We have provided hand sanitizer at every table and have worked with our coordinator to maximize distance for the wedding guests. If you have not yet RSVPed please do so, if you have RSVPed and decided you will no longer attend please let me know.
