Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Formal/black tie optional, cocktail attire would be appropriate. Weather permitting the ceremony will be on an outside deck with a fire pit, so for a short period of time you might be chilly! Only for a short time though, and there will be blankets. Feel free to wear a cute scarf or wrap! The reception will be indoors. For those of you who have asked if you can wear jeans...please no :)

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 12 noon. We kindly ask that guests arrive at 11:30 to start mingling.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

There are 2 large parking lots at the venue, they also have valet parking.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love everyone's kids! However, we have decided to make this an adult-only celebration. We hope you understand.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Not unless a plus one was listed on your invitation. We may be able to add guests later on and will let you know.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

January 30th. You can RSVP by mail, text, email or on our website.

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

The reception will be held after the ceremony at the same location, you will be directed inside to enjoy yummy snacks before real food.

Question

Will food be served?

Answer

YES. We love food. There will be passed appetizers, beer/wine bar, a meal, and of course desserts! We will have to roll you around the dance floor.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Please let us know if you have some kind of serious food allergy. Otherwise the food options will be meat vs vegetarian.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

There better be, or I am going to have words with someone.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, so there will be no photos or use of any new age gadgets or technological body appendages (also known as the phone we are all addicted to) for the duration of the ceremony. We promise to share photos of the wedding ceremony with everyone. During the reception photos and devices are allowed, but please try to be courteous.

Question

How do I contact you?

Answer

erinstacey@gmail.com or russelltporter@gmail.com

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

The only thing we truly hope for is that everyone can come to the wedding and have a great time with us. There are no gift obligations here. However, for those of you who are insistent about this, we have a registry attached to our wedding website.
