It's crazy to think that Peter and I have known each other since before we can even remember. With our parents being college friends, we have grown up side by side. We've witnessed the awkward middle school phases, attended the family first communion and graduation parties, and been friends our whole lives! It's no secret that our families have wanted us to get together for years, but after we attended homecoming and prom together our senior year of high school, we went our separate ways for college. Peter braved Philadelphia while attending Villanova, and I stayed closer to home at John Carroll. After school, Peter stayed in Philly and I nestled down in Cleveland, each of us exploring life and growing in our own little worlds. Of course our paths still crossed several times a year when our families got together, but aside from a little flirting, nothing substantial came of it (much to our loved ones' dismay). Until... December 2020, when Peter asked me out on our first official date to Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine. God is so good, and His timing is so perfect! Since then, there's been no turning back. We are so overwhelmed with gratitude to God that we found each other after all this time, and we are so excited for a lifetime to go!
