Union Station was once one of the busiest train stations in the world. It has been converted to a high end hotel, aquarium, restaurants, and other attractions.
Saint Louis Zoo
The St. Louis Zoo is regularly rated as the top zoo in the country. It is also one of the few free zoos in the world. Visitors tip: The parking lots are convenient but are pay to park. Free street parking is available in Forest Park as well as on the south side of highway 40/64 in the Dogtown neighborhood.
Pat Connolly’s
Pat's is the oldest Irish bar in St. Louis and just down the street from the Zoo. Stop in for a burger and a beer and feel like a local in Erin's favorite neighborhood.
