The St. Louis Zoo is regularly rated as the top zoo in the country. It is also one of the few free zoos in the world. Visitors tip: The parking lots are convenient but are pay to park. Free street parking is available in Forest Park as well as on the south side of highway 40/64 in the Dogtown neighborhood.
