Montgomery Bell State Park

To reserve either a cabin or a room at the lodge you need to call the front desk at 615-797-1613 and ask for the Macke/Bennett wedding group block. Unreserved rooms/cabins will be released on April 1. There are also several hotels in Dickson, TN which is about 15 to 20 minutes from Hickory Meadow and a few vrbo's in the area.

Directions

From the Lodge, follow Hotel Ave. to the end, turn right at the Visitors Center, onto Jackson Hill Rd. and proceed to the main park entrance at US-70 East. Turn right on Hwy 70E and continue for approximately 3 miles. Turn left on TN-47, just past the McDonald's. Stay on 47 for approximately 9 miles. Hickory Meadow will be on your left. Look for the white sign because the venue is not visible from the road.

Shuttle from Reception to Montgomery Bell State Park

Hickory Meadow (the venue) is located approximately 15-20 minutes from Montgomery Bell State Park Lodge. It has been noted that rideshare services are generally reliable for transport to Hickory Meadow during the afternoon; however, their availability tends to decrease in the evening, particularly toward the conclusion of the reception. Alcohol will be served throughout the cocktail hour and reception. A complementary shuttle service from Hickory Meadow to Montgomery Bell Cabins and Lodge will operate between 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Furthermore, Hickory Meadow will permit vehicles to be parked overnight at the venue, provided they are removed by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. For guests who are staying at Montgomery Bell and intend to consume alcohol during the wedding, we strongly recommend utilizing rideshare or carpooling to the ceremony and plan to ride the shuttle back to the Lodge. Guest not staying at the Lodge, please plan accordingly.
