The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Cocktail dresses, pant suits, jumpers, or a suit and tie are all appropriate. Smart-casual is the dress code for welcome drinks. Come in whatever you feel best in, though the bride and groom would love to see you in something funky or vintage inspired.
Like Holy Matrimony, receiving the Eucharist is a Holy Sacrament in the Catholic faith. If you are not a practicing Catholic, we encourage you to receive a blessing from the priest by approaching him with your arms crossed in an X over your chest. Otherwise, feel free to remain seated during Communion if that feels most comfortable.
We will have shuttles running from the The Drake and Courtyard Marriott to the church and from the church to Thalia Hall. A shuttle schedule will be included in your welcome bag. Guests will be responsible for their own transportation after the reception. We recommend Uber/Lyft or the CTA.

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. Welcome drinks for out-of-town guests will be indoor/outdoor.
