We are getting married!

We first met playing randomly together on a women's indoor soccer team. A few weeks later, Natalia talked to Erin for the first time and she was very nervous. Natalia hoped she would be able to talk to Erin more by inviting her to play in a soccer tourney in Houston the following weekend. Erin was nervous because she wasn't sure she had the soccer talent to play with Natalia and her friends. We ended up losing the tournament in the semis, but we gained something so much better. A week later, Natalia asked Erin if she was playing soccer on a Friday night as an excuse to take her to dinner. Erin was able to quickly shower after her game so that she could meet Natalia that night. We had dinner and after a fun conversation, we decided to continue talking and went to another place for drinks. We had an immediate connection and our relationship bloomed from there!

We decided to take a vacation and chose Italy and France as our destination. We were very excited to spend some time together in another beautiful part of the world and create unforgettable memories. Erin had no idea Natalia was planning a proposal during this vacation trip. Natalia chose Venice, Italy (first destination) as a great city to propose. Erin and Natalia went out for lunch after a long airplane flight. Natalia had planned a famous gondola ride and a night city tour. After a fun day full of history and lovely views, Natalia decided to propose to Erin at the famous Piazza San Marco! The rest is history.
