Welcome to our happiest day

Mike surprised Erin with a proposal the day he arrived at Jenny Lake, after they had been apart for almost six weeks. Erin's cousin Heather distracted Erin by inviting her to get manicures in town. While Erin drove down the mountain to meet Heather, Mike snuck up to the lake where Mr. and Mrs. Ipsen were waiting for him. Together, they set up the most beautiful proposal on the new dock Mr. Ipsen had recently finished building. Mike also hid his car at the neighbor's house, as Erin was expecting him to arrive later that evening. Erin arrived back at the lake to find a beautiful bouquet of her favorite flowers next to a card from Mike. She was very surprised to look out the window and see Mike standing, waiting for her at the dock. She hurried out the door, down the path, and met Mike on the water. He told her how much he loves her and asked her hand in marriage. It was the happiest reunion and most fitting proposal Erin could have imagined. They celebrated over dinner with family afterward at a lovely restaurant in Saratoga, NY.
