What is the attire?

Answer

Cocktail or formal, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "& Guest" then, yes! If not, then we would prefer it's just you.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids - we really do, but we want our wedding celebration to be your night off.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

November in Des Moines is usually chilly! Highs in the mid to high 40's during the days and dropping in the mid to low 30's at night. Rain and snow are always possibilities in the midwest.

Indoor? Outdoor? What's the deal?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held indoors.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony start time to mingle and get comfortable.

Do I have to stay at the recommended hotel?

Answer

Absolutely not! Please stay wherever you are most comfortable. We are just happy to have you joining in on our special day!

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at Target + Amazon. There will also be a small table at the reception for cards.

Photos Policy?

Answer

Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Our ceremony will be unplugged, to fully be present in the moment. But feel free to take pictures before, during cocktail hour, and during the reception. Please tag your photos with our wedding hashtag so we can be sure to see them too!

What is the RSVP Policy?

Answer

Please let us know either way by September 1st, if you can or cannot make it, and use the RSVP section on this wedding website. If you cannot make it, we will look forward to celebrating with you next time we are together.
