Question

Will the Welcome Party be inside or outside?

Answer

Both! Light bites and drinks will be served inside. However, we'll also have use of Lighthouse Cove's bay-side beach. Weather permitting, there will be a beach bonfire beginning at 8.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes, there will be transportation from the Hyatt Place and the Atlantic Sands hotels to the venue and back. One bus each will arrive at the Hyatt Place and the Atlantic Sands at 3:30 PM on Saturday. Once the bus at the Hyatt Place is full, it will proceed to Baywood no later than 4:00 PM. The other bus will arrive at the Atlantic Sands in Rehoboth at 3:30 PM and then will proceed no later than 3:45 PM to the Hyatt Place in Dewey to pick up the remaining guests at that location. That bus will leave the Hyatt Place no later than 4:10 PM. Thanks in advance for planning to board the buses on time. Based on the number of guests using transportation, both buses will be filled. If the first bus leaves Dewey without a full load of guests, the second bus will not be able to accommodate the remaining guests. At the end of the reception, one bus will go directly to the Starboard in Dewey for the afterparty and the other bus will stop at both the Atlantic Sands hotel in Rehoboth and the Hyatt Place in Dewey Beach. There will be signs on the buses indicating their destinations.

Question

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire with a garden party theme. Ladies, floral and bright colors are encouraged (but by no means required). Gentlemen can wear sport coats and slacks or light suits.

Question

Will the ceremony and/or reception be outside?

Answer

Yes, assuming that the weather cooperates, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside on the patio. Please dress comfortably for mid-May!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be an adults-only event. While we love your little ones, our venue has a capacity limit. We appreciate you making arrangements in advance and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
