Erin & Matthew met at the end of summer 2009. They stayed in touch while Erin was away at the University of Massachusetts for her Junior year. It was not until July 2010 that they went on their first official date! The rest of the summer included nights down the shore, a trip to Atlantic City, walks at the Ridgewood Duck Pond, a Yankees/Red Sox game and other fun dates. By the end of the summer, Matthew decided to ask Erin to be his girlfriend. She was leaving the next day for her Senior year at UMass, but he decided to take a chance... *9 years later* Erin & Matthew have gone on many dates! Some of their adventures include hockey games [Rangers], baseball games [Yankees & Mets], concerts [Foo Fighters, Paul McCartney & Lady Gaga], trips around the world [California, Disney World, Ireland, Vegas, Spain], & countless trips to Target. In January 2017, Erin & Matthew moved into an apartment in Edgewater, New Jersey. On July 14, 2017 Matthew proposed to Erin in the apartment! It was a great weekend & they spent the rest of the summer celebrating with family & friends. Erin & Matthew look forward to many more dates & adventures, including an Elton John concert, a trip to Bali & Japan, and of course, many more trips to Target. They cannot wait to celebrate with their closest family & friends on April 19, 2019!
