If nature is your thing, we highly recommend checking out Pisgah National Forest. It's 30-45 minutes southwest of Asheville, but well worth the drive.

River Arts District
There are many GPS addresses since the RAD covers more than a mile of riverfront. We suggest starting at Riverview Station (191 Lyman Street, Asheville), home to dozens of artists. Or begin at St. Claire Art at 344 Depot Street. Both locations have large parking areas.
New Belgium Brewing Company
Only a short distance outside downtown Asheville, New Belgium overlooks the French Broad River. Keep in mind this is only one of many breweries in Asheville. Be sure to check out Hi-Wire Brewing, Wicked Weed Brewing Pub, Burial Beer Co., and Highland Brewing Company, just to name a few!
