Question

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Answer

YES! We will have local beer and cider as well as wine and spirits. If you feel compelled to bring a bottle of your favorite spirit to share, please do. Our friend will be mixing specialty cocktails for us this evening.

What if I have just a little too much fun and shouldn't drive home?

Answer

We will have shuttle service that can take you home! Please be safe. Our cops can be harsh.

Is there anything cool to do in town?

Answer

What isn't there to do? Pick your adventure from biking, hiking, water sports galore. A SUPER fun experience is the Escape Room downtown. I had a blast with friends. It was an hour experience and can be really cool to do with a family or friends. Definitely a rainy day option as well as any day. You can check out the Visitors Center on the north side of the bridge which is also kid friendly. The New River is a National River so it does have park rangers and an exceptional Visitors Center with a cool overlook! From there you can take the old road down to the river, across the old bridge and up the other side. Prior to 1977 this was the only way to cross the river!
