Lucky Bucket Brewing Co.
It's a bit of a drive from downtown, but worth it. Lucky Bucket is one of our favorite spots in town.
Block 16
Block 16 is a must-stop for anyone visiting Omaha. You may have to wait a little bit around traditional lunch and dinner times, but it's worth it.
Benson
We spend a lot of time in Benson. We love the poutine and chicken sandwich at 1912, the beer at Benson Brewery and Infusion Brewery, breakfast at Leo's (a true dive) and arcade games at Beercade.
Dundee-Happy Hollow Historic District
Similar to Benson, we love to spend time in Dundee on Underwood. Fish and chips at Dundee Dell are a must, but the burger at Dario's is too. We also like to sit outside and enjoy Amsterdam or ECreamery.
The Old Market
The Old Market is especially festive this time of year with holiday lights everywhere. It's worth walking through or driving by!
Blackstone
Similar to Benson and Dundee, Blackstone is another great neighborhood with plenty of restaurant options, bar options and Coneflower (the best ice cream around). You can easily spend an entire afternoon or evening at Blackstone.
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium
If you have a little time to kill, we can't recommend the zoo enough. There's a reason it's the No. 1 zoo in the world.
Lauritzen Gardens
Escape to an urban oasis of beauty and tranquility to experience the glory of the garden. Discover a hidden sanctuary in the heart of the city. Relax while cultivating your mind in this living plant museum, conveniently located in the beautiful riverfront hills. We didn't write that. Lauritzen Gardens did, but it's a good explanation of why you should go.
Saddle Creek Breakfast Club
SCBC is nestled in the heart of our neighborhood and we love it. If you're looking for a solid brunch spot, this is the place to go.
Early Bird Brunch
One more brunch spot, especially if you're looking for one with Captain Crunch pancakes on the menu. But Early Bird is truly for the early bird. It gets busy quickly.
