Are children welcome?

Answer

The ceremony is reserved for children 13 years and older. Parent(s) and children under 13 years old can wait in the Manor House located next to the ceremony space until the ceremony is over. Once the ceremony is over, children of all ages are welcome at the reception!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Any plus ones and additional guests will be listed under your name when you RSVP. If there is no additional guest listed, then you may not bring the guest.

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes, but parking is very limited. We encourage carpooling with other guests. A shuttle will be provided ONLY for those staying in the Hampton Inn & Suites Leesburg (hotel linked in the Travel tab).

Can I Uber back to my hotel after the event?

Answer

Ubers and Lyfts back to the hotel after the event may be difficult as the venue is 30 minutes away from more populated areas. We encourage scheduling a a ride or inflated tipping to encourage drivers to make the journey. However, there is no guarantee Ubers will be available. We encourage use of the shuttle

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal attire. October in Washington, D.C./ Virginia offers an autumn climate with comfortably cool temperatures. Typical weather during the day varies from low 70s/high 60s, dropping to low 60s/high 50s in the evening. Check the weather before traveling to confirm.

What is the rain plan?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors rain or shine. The ceremony space is mostly tree covered, and the reception will not be affected by rain.
