Note to everyone! Stay away from the travel lodge & the smart stay/Econolodge if you go to Beckley! We were told that it is not clean, not good, but might be cheap.
Below are the recommended locations for places to stay.
Our recommendation is to book early. As there is a large event happening the same day as our wedding that is eating up hotels fast.

Bridge Day note
Bridge Day is West Virginia's largest one day festival. Anyone coming northbound from the highway might want to come in friday night. The large bridge on that road is closing down on saturday for the whole day and will add about 30-40 minute drive to the venue site.
