The First Date That's right, they met online! Erin & Josh matched on Hinge & went on their first date March 2nd, 2024 at Pomo Pizzeria. After the very first bite of pizza, Erin spilled sauce all down the front of her shirt. Embarrassed, Erin thought for sure there would be no chance of a second date after that! But when Josh sighed in relief at the act and said that made him like her even more, she knew he was the one. After dinner, Erin & Josh walked around Downtown Phoenix bar-hopping, neither one of them wanting the night to end. Finally, Josh walked Erin to her car, and they shared their first kiss, sealing their fate. The Relationship In the beginning of their relationship, Erin & Josh took turns driving back and forth between Phoenix and Anthem to spend 4-5 days per week with each other. It didn't take long for them to get sick of carting bags back and forth to each other's places, so they decided to move in together after just 5 months of dating. They rented their first high-rise apartment in Downtown Phoenix, and adapted quickly to being able to see each other everyday, as well as walk to their favorite tap house The Theodore anytime a beer craving hit. A year later, they decided to move into a house on the same street as two of Josh's best friends out in the suburbs. Erin has easily become accustomed to Josh cooking all of her meals for her, and has shown Josh a few new states, including her snowy home state of Wisconsin. Josh has forced Erin to watch every episode of Seinfeld, & has taught her how to effectively hunt for allocated bourbon. The Proposal In August 2025, Josh & Erin went to a jewelry store to start looking at styles for rings. They had planned on getting engaged in 2026 & married at the end of 2027, but little did Erin know, Josh planned to propose to her just a month later. On September 5, 2025, Josh drove Erin to a surprise location for a fun weekend away together. When they pulled up to a winery in Cottonwood, Arizona, you can imagine Erin was thrilled. As they got out of the car, Josh took Erin over to a beautiful, secluded pond overlooking the vineyard. After snapping the last picture of Erin as his girlfriend, he got down on one knee & asked her to marry him. After a solid minute of complete shock, she finally screamed yes & put on her dream ring. This leads us to now, as we look forward to their wedding just 3 days after their 3-year anniversary.
