Garden of the Gods
Drive through the park for magnificent views, park at the visitor center and walk through the park, or park at one of the small parking lots throughout the park and explore!
Pikes Peak
Drive Pikes Peak highway up to the top of Pikes Peak and enjoy some coffee and donuts at the summit. Driving to the top is not for the faint of heart (we still get nervous - no guardrails). Directions and fees (reserve in advance) are on the website.
Glen Eyrie
Day activities: Castle tours are available Mon-Sun. Castle tea is available Wed-Sun. Accommodations: You can stay in the castle or nearby buildings. If you stay overnight on the property you can hike property trails (on own or through an organized tour)
Manitou Incline
Want to challenge your hiking ability at high elevation? Try the Manitou Incline. Parking information and fees are on the website. After the hike, reward yourself by heading to downtown Manitou to shop, drink and eat.

Old Colorado City
Explore Old Colorado City to shop, eat, and drink.
Cave of the Winds Mountain Park
A family friendly activity. Explore the caves or one of the many other activities including a rope course and ziplining.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
An activity for the entire family. The zoo is hilly so be prepared!
Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center
A family friendly activity ~45 minutes from the Springs. Home to one of the last American Red Wolves!
Gold Camp Road
Family friendly activity! Drive up Gold Camp Road for scenic views. At the top is a parking lot, get out and walk the wide gravel/dirt trail for more views. There are hiking trail offshoots from this trail (Seven Bridges, Helen Hunt Falls).
The Broadmoor Resort
Stay at the Broadmoor hotel or spend a day exploring the resort. They have multiple activities/adventures - a personal favorite is falconry!
