Our Story
Erin and Joe met toward the end of their first semester at Wilkes University and were officially dating by the start of the second semester. While that first chapter only lasted through the summer before sophomore year, they found their way back to each other by junior year—and never looked back.
Over the last eight years, they’ve grown up together and shared some big milestones. In 2021, they graduated college and moved to Michigan with Erin’s childhood dog, Moon. In 2023, they bought their first house and adopted their dog, Goose. In 2024, they said goodbye to Moon and welcomed their cats, Cheddar and Luffy. In 2025, they sold their first home and bought the one they plan to stay in for a long time.
Somewhere in the middle of it all, Joe proposed in the backyard of their first house in 2024—while Goose ran around.
