Joe Diffie sang it best "I met all my wives in traffic jams, You know there's something women like about a Pickup Man." Erin and Jeremiah met as most couples do, on an online dating app, while stuck in a traffic jam that kept them both in stopped traffic for more than an hour. They hit it off and met the next evening for a long walk along Fort Lauderdale Beach and dinner at a local restaurant, followed by a drive in Jeremiah's Ford Ranger. From there the rest is history.

Erin finally had a day off from her new job, or so she thought. Erin and Jeremiah went in to work at 6am on the proposal day so Jeremiah could help her remove the filter for the pool for cleaning. From there he suggested a trip to the pier with their pet ferret, Sir William, and suggested Erin wear something other than her chlorinated t-shirts for dinner out afterwards. At the end of the pier Erin wanted to take a family photo, Jeremiah then passed Sir to Erin so he could get out his phone for the picture, and, much to Erin's surprise, pulled out the ring instead and proposed. Erin was so surprised and filled with emotion as she said yes to the man she loves. Unfortunately the celebration was cut short for the time as a massive storm was approaching but Erin and Jeremiah were able to celebrate later with friends at dinner, and then again with her parents the next day when they came down to visit.
