I know you are wondering... Why Thursday? October 23rd is particularly important to us. We met on our first day of organic chemistry lab. After many weeks of talking from 9pm-12am after that Monday lab, we went on our first date. And, you guessed it, that was October 23rd. If you look this date up on the international days calendar (which we did after our date), you will see this is mole day. A mole is a unit of measure in chemistry! While we understand a weekday is inconvenient, we appreciate you taking the time to celebrate with us on this important date in our story.
Please RSVP either on this website, by email, over text, or a nice phone call by September 19th.
When the schedule has been solidified, there will be a new tab on the website with that information. You will see an update banner on the home page when it is added, but it will definitely be available when official invitations are sent.
If the weather is good, we do not expect a time gap. Everything should be set up for the outdoor ceremony followed immediately by the (mostly) indoor reception. If we need to have the ceremony indoors, there may be a slight delay while we transition from a ceremony set-up to the reception. If that is the case, we would appreciate your help, but you can also visit the little shopping area across the parking lot or visit with the other guests.
We have three airport options. Pocatello does have an airport, but it has one flight a day with a late arrival and early departure. Idaho Falls is approximately 45 minutes away. Salt Lake City airport is typically the cheapest option, and it is 2.5 hours away.
Guests will need to arrange their own accommodations, but we have provided a list of hotel options below. Pocatello and Chubbuck both have lots of Airbnb and Vrbo options. If the weather cooperates, we plan to have the ceremony outdoors. The reception will primarily be indoors, but we will also have some yard games set up. If it rains or snows, everything will be indoors.
This is a more casual event, so we will call it "dressy casual." Feel free to wear sundresses, lightweight separates, light dress shirts with khakis, nice jeans, or slacks. Jackets and ties are optional. The weather can be hit or miss in late October, so please keep that in mind!
We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we would like to keep the guest list to those who know us well. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Yes! Children are welcome to be part of our day if they are listed on your website RSVP. If we missed your children on the invite, feel free to reach out. Below are some details you may want to know to prepare. The event is tentatively scheduled for 12:00 PM-5:00 PM. Our food options will be waffles and a charcuterie table, along with cupcakes. If there is any other information you need, please reach out.
We are serving waffles, a charcuterie table, and cupcakes. If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know. We can accommodate gluten restrictions for the waffles and cupcakes, but we need to have a headcount in advance.
Our caterer will provide coffee, hot chocolate, and iced tea. We will also have bottled water available. Alcohol is not allowed at the venue. We recommend visiting one of our many awesome breweries, bars, or restaurants after the reception if you would like to enjoy an alcoholic beverage. We have recommended a few in our Things to Do tab on this website.

We do ask that you leave photos to our amazing photographer during the ceremony. However, we would love for you to capture any special moments during the reception. This is intended to be a more casual event, and our photographer cannot be everywhere at once!
We would like to make a formal wedding announcement with our professional images. After that, you have our permission to share your photos from the reception.
