We are well aware.
The hurricane is not predicted to significantly impact the wedding day events. It will be over before Saturday. There is little else we can plan for at this time.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the ceremony so you have time to cross the street and grab a seat.
Public parking is across the street from Sweetwater Inn, in the Alachua County Schools Board of Education parking lot. The venue is close to downtown Gainesville and the University of Florida so we suggest you do not leave valuables visible in your car.
Semi-Formal or Cocktail Attire is suggested. We ask that Ladies respect the cultural norm of not wearing a white dress, but there are no other restrictions or requests.
No, your presence is the present! Please do not feel obligated to give anything, if you still would like to we will have a card box/ gift table at the reception. We did not opt for an online fund because the websites take between 3%-10% of the gift.
Yes! Please include their names and ages on the RSVP. We will be giving small busy bags to each child. We just ask that if your little one starts to fuss during the ceremony you step out so our hard-of-hearing relatives can listen to the officiant.
Our head count is limited due to the venue size, we kindly request that our guests refrain from bringing additional guests unless their invitation specifically includes a 'plus one'. If you have any questions please ask James or Erin directly.
Yes, please include that information on the RSVP.
