Jacob and Erin met their freshmen year of college at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (Go Dawgs!). They both lived on the 11th floor of Schneider Hall. Jacob and Erin became best of friends and officially started dating their sophomore year of college. To save Jacob the public embarrassment, if you want to know how Jacob confessed his feelings to Erin, you will have to ask Erin in person. July 15th, 2021, Jacob proposed to Erin at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Erin is obsessed with all things Disney, especially Magic Kingdom. During the firework show, Happily Ever After, Jacob surprised Erin and proposed in front of the castle with thousands of people watching. It was a moment they will both never forget. Fun fact, after watching the videos back of Jacob proposing to Erin, they noticed that he proposed at 9:24 PM. Without noticing this, Jacob and Erin chose 9.24.22 to be the day they become one in marriage. Here we are……over 7 years together, 3 apartments, 3 college degrees, 1 amazing home, and of course - 1 Ronald. Jacob and Erin cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with our most loved family and friends.
