Erin and Howard first met in elementary school attending the same church in LA, but it wasn’t until middle school when they first started becoming friends! There was a period of time when Howard moved to a different church in Orange County and they lost touch - when he came back at the beginning of junior year in high school, he and Erin reconnected and eventually became best friends. We all know that didn’t last long… After an overwhelming number of Facetime calls for months and weekly praise team practices, the two of them slowly, but surely started to fade out of each other friendzones. Erin tried playing it cool by offering him girl advice and was his wing woman (secretly crushing on him). Howard pretended he wasn’t interested (even though he texted Erin good morning before school everyday). Finally, on a random Facetime call in the beginning of summer 2014, Howard said to Erin, “I know you like me.” In total shock, Erin denied the accusation, internally freaking out since she didn't want their dynamic to change at all. But then Howard said “You don’t have to lie. I know you like me.... but it’s okay, cause I like you too.” And the rest is history:)
