Our Story

Our story may not be one from or for the movies but here we are. Hagan asked Erin out two days after Christmas and a few weeks later he had her blocked. Although it did not last long at all, he could not lose the opportunity to see where things went with her due to someone else. When he did unblock her, they got to talking and hanging out and one sleepover later and now we are getting engaged. In between all that time there has been many laughs, little adventures and big, running from hurricanes (yes this is true... Hagan proposed and within 48 hours we were trying to escape a hurricane), and even adding our four legged son Finn. We kept our relationship secret from everyone, when we say everyone we mean everyone. (Erin literally did not tell her own father they were dating until Hagan was on his way up to her hometown in Louisville and was less then an hour away.) We knew how others are with relationships and we wanted to see what happened with no one else's opinions being intertwined within ours. There were a select few people at work who caught on pretty quick, knowing Hagan for years gave a lot away. One is in the wedding, Kayla, knowing Hagan for years gave away how smitten he was for Erin. The other being Bridgette, she is one of our best friends now, she saw one night Hagan waiting for Erin to get off and immediately asked Erin about what was going on, she knew deep down what was going on but she couldn't out right say it. Slowly after that moment people started realizing what was going on. By that point we had already moved in together. Fast forward two years and we had planned a trip to Orlando to go to Disney and have a vacation together with Kylie and her fiance, little did Erin know Hagan had another plan on that trip. Well day one we get there and we know there is a potential of a hurricane but being in central Florida we weren't stressing, the Floridians weren't stressed so we weren't either. That night Hagan popped the question and obviously Erin said yes! The next two days we are at Disney, slowly then rapidly the stress of the hurricane is increasing. By the night of day two we were all a mess stressing about this stupid hurricane. By the third day we were on a 16 hour drive to Atlanta, in which we got the last hotel due to EVERYONE in Florida evacuating to Atlanta. The most stressful 3 days of our lives, but we cannot say we have a boring engagement story. Now we are here getting married with all the people we love!
