We are getting married!

Eric and Erin's journey begins like most modern love stories - by chance, a swipe, and a little fate - matching on Hinge while they were both stationed in Korea. On their first date, Eric wooed Erin with a unique substitute for flowers: a jar of pickles. Erin showed up true to form: chaotically. She arrived hangry and accidentally spent the first twenty minutes of the date yelling. After Eric fed her, Erin became a normal person again, and he said, "this is the girl for me." From the very beginning it was clear something special was unfolding. Between adventures in Asia together, loudly talking over true crime documentaries discussing theories and motives, many aquarium and botanical garden visits, and endless giggles, they found not just a best friend, but also a teammate and a soulmate. On 18 April 2025, Eric asked Erin to spend forever together and she (literally) squealed with overwhelming excitement while jumping up and down. They are so excited to begin this chapter together - continuing their adventures, laughter, and love - as husband and wife.
