Our wedding planner from the resort recommends going straight from the cocktail hour to the reception. The resort is large and everyone will be transported by golf cart type vehicles - depending on how long you have to wait, you run the risk of arriving late. So plan to bring everything you need with you :) There are multiple bars near the reception area that we can suggest you go to if you are early! Will update this after meeting w/ our gal on Thursday morning.
