We're Getting Married!

There we were, Ergi sending the first message of “hello,” and Erin making the first move to book drinks. A small message to complement a big smile turned into six years of pure love. We met in Harvard Square, at Grafton Tavern. Erin was a casual 25 minutes late, while Ergi waited patiently. We (Erin) talked for hours (and we mean non-stop talking) before strolling through the Square and sharing our first kiss. After that day, we fell in love in Boston in the summer of 2019. We explored the city, got to know each other deeply at Nahant Beach, and laughed over Old Fashioneds at our neighborhood bar in Brighton. In 2020, when COVID hit, our relationship only grew. Quarantining together taught us patience, resilience, and the comfort of simply existing in the same space. When life gets hard, we always remind ourselves: if we survived a global pandemic together, we can face anything together. After the world reopened, our next chapter began. We moved into our first apartment together, creating a cozy home that felt like us. We adopted our sweet boy Kobe. He is a brindle-coated, floppy-eared mutt from Puerto Rico who instantly became the center of our universe. Together, the three of us built a life full of laughter, adventures, and snuggles on the couch. From 2020 to 2025, we traveled together, danced through chaotic times, faced challenges hand in hand, and grew as individuals and as a couple. We became a team in every sense by supporting one another’s goals, sharing each other's dreams, and choosing each other, every single day. Now, in 2025, we are engaged and more in love than ever. We are proud dog parents, building a life, and dreaming about our future together. Kobe will always be our baby, and our little family means everything to us. We cannot wait to celebrate our love and our journey with all of you, our favorite people. Let’s party!!!
