Eddy said he wanted to check out a possible Christmas present for Caleb one Saturday morning. Erin hopped in the truck ready for a scenic drive through the north Georgia mountains. Upon arrival, they perused the showcase of outdoor playhouse sized fairy/hobbit houses with bright colors and topsy-turvy designs. The last one even had a porch, so they had to really check this one out! Eddy went inside first then dragged Erin along. Once inside, she first noticed the small round table set up in the corner. Then she realized there was a bottle of water and a candy dish full of chocolates sitting on it. (She would later learn Eddy spent most of Friday setting the whole scene and scheming with the owner of the business - sneaky!) Next, she noticed the "eat me" and "drink me" tags. And FINALLY, she noticed Eddy down on one knee where he had a box that said "open me" hidden in his pocket - so naturally she assumed it was a joke, rolled her eyes, slapped him in the face, and said, "Shut the f*** up!" True story.
