There are tons of hiking trails around Silver Lake, some great options: The Potholes: This trail leads to a series of popular granite swimming holes. It is a short and easy walk, suitable for all skill levels. Distance: 1.5 miles Granite Lake Trail: This trail starts on the east side of Silver Lake and ascends toward Granite Lake, where you can continue toward Hidden Lake. Length: 5.3-mile loop Shealor Lake: This trail leads to a picturesque alpine lake surrounded by granite boulders. It is a good choice for a half-day hike with stunning views. Distance: 3 miles
