Darian and Erin met at the Bearded Lady, a popular neighborhood bar in Prospect Heights, BK. Darian noticed Erin approach the bar from outside and Erin spotted him upon walking in. They were both hoping to meet. The bar was crowded and, to Erin's luck, the only open chair was one that Darian was using to drape his jean jacket over - this was her chance! With some help from her friend, Erin worked up the courage to walk up to Darian and ask him if she could use that seat and Darian tried to play it cool while he lifted his jacket and ushered Erin to sit down. Sparks flew immediately, and even though they were there with their respective friends, it felt like no one else was in the room...until Darian said that he had to leave because he was going on a date. Erin was sad to see him go, but appreciated his honesty. She planned to give her phone number to one of his friends at the end of the night in hopes that it would make its way back to Darian. But, to everyone's surprise, about ten minutes after Darian left, he came back to Bearded Lady because his date happened to be running late. He quickly walked up to Erin and asked her for her number. He texted her a couple hours later that night -- and they went on their first date back at Bearded Lady two days later.
