Ceremony and Reception

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark suits or jackets and slacks. The reception will be outdoors, and the ground can be soft, so you might want to rethink those stilettoes!

Also, no clericals, clerical collars, or cassocks will be permitted at the wedding ceremony or reception unless you are serving at the altar. This is an occasion for your party attire! “And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless." (Matthew 22:12) The reception including drinks, appetizers, dinner and dancing will immediately follow the service of Holy Matrimony in the church yard.
