Connor and Erin's love story was a slow burn. They met in the summer of 2018 at a local brewery through mutual friends. Erin was in PA school at the time, and Connor had recently relocated to Richmond. Connor's friend from high school, Nick (now a groomsman and bandmate), had gone to college with one of Erin's PA school friends. They ran in the same friend group for nearly a year. Erin used to get annoyed with Connor’s late-night shenanigans, like stealing her jacket, etc. Connor was invited, along with Mike (the best man) and Nick, to Erin’s PA school graduation party at Sine’s in 2019. It was at Sine’s that Connor met Erin’s entire family. Over a few Irish Car Bombs, Connor professed his love to Erin’s mom, Lara. Did Lara tell her daughter about this interaction? No. Over the next few weeks, the two would attend NASCAR, celebrate Erin finishing her board exams, and soak up Erin’s last few weeks in Richmond. The night before Erin left to move home to Phoenix, she texted Connor to bum his Wi-Fi. It was while leaving that Connor finally made the first move and kissed her. The rest is history. JK. Erin moved home to Phoenix. She ended up being offered her dream job as a general surgery PA back in Richmond. She made the decision to move back, and spent all summer non-revving on red-eye flights to and from Richmond. Erin would fly in for 36 hrs to see Connor's first few gigs with Almost Gone. The two moved in together in the summer of 2021. On their friend group’s annual beach trip to the Outer Banks in August 2023, with a massive amount of help from Erin’s best gal pals, Connor got down on one knee. No one actually remembers what he said. But Erin said “Yes!” anyway. They spent the next few days celebrating amongst their closest friends. In November 2023, the couple purchased their first home in Byrd Park. They are so excited to celebrate their love with you!
