What does it mean if my invitation only says reception?

Answer

Due to the space available and fact that we both wanted an intimate ceremony, a lot of guests are only invited to the reception. Please only arrive at the ceremony if it explicitly states it on your invitation. We hope you all understand!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning please RSVP to the wedding as soon as possible. However, the deadline is 31st July 2026. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we will have to mark you as "no". We need to provide the venue with a total guest count by this time, we hope you understand.

Is there a registry / what should I buy as a gift

Answer

Similar to our engagement party due to it being difficult to bring any gifts back to Wagga, it would be most appreciated any gifts to be in cash or via transfer to the following account (BSB: 306 073 ACC: 1084329 Name: Erin McKiernan).

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony PLEASE take as many photos and videos as you can, we would love to see them.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. We ask that only those that receive the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding.

Are children welcome?

Answer

There aren't many of you that own children, however, for those that do, we ask for our wedding to be exclusively for adults. Please arrange care for your little ones.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be welcome drinks as well as wine and beer during the reception.

Will dinner be sit down?

Answer

No, the reception will be cocktail with food coming around for everyone. There will be plenty of seats around however, for those who'd like to sit down.

Is the ceremony outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be on the beach, weather permitting and everyone will move into the venue for the reception. Please make sure to dress appropriately (shoes may be taken off if you want your dogs out).
