Maid of Honor
Erin's sister, Shannie G, as Erin loves to call her or Shanard, which is Cody's pick. She is the best sister I could ever ask for. Shannon is thoughtful in every action she takes, including immediately booking venue tours and sending all things wedding to do lists our way the day after our engagement, to year long running Christmas gift lists to ensure she gives the most thoughtful gift. She continues to try her best to make Cody a Husker football and Creighton basketball enthusiast and I think we are making progress. We are so grateful she is willing to help us plan our special day while we are half way across the country. She is one of a kind and I cannot think of anyone better to be my maid of honor. Love you always Shannie G.
Bridesmaid
Mia is Erin's cousin on her mother's side, but has always been more of a little sister. We were lucky enough to grow up only one block away so our childhood's were pretty inseparable. Mia then moved down the hall from Shannon and I's apartment when she was in college and Shannon and I were in grad school, so it was like we were back in the past with just a short walk separating us from story telling, constant borrowing of kitchen items, lots of laughs and good company. Mia is, well Mia, as our grandfather would always say. There is no one like her, and that is the best way our family can describe her. Little Mimi is all grown up now, but I cannot wait to have her by my side on our wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Indie is a high school best friend. I knew I wanted to be Indie's friend since we were fifteen and everyone was excitedly awaiting the arrival of the new British girl. Whether is was the horrendous attempt at an English accent or my constant chatter during swim team practice that won her over, she will never tell. Indie has been by my side since we were just 15 even during her seven years in Arizona and my now distance in Vermont. Cody knows if I am on the phone for hours, it's probably Indie. I cannot wait to start this next chapter of our lives with Indie by our sides.
Bridesmaid
Morgan has been one of Erin's best friends since high school. Morgan lived only one neighborhood away, so her home was like another home for me during high school with lots of movie nights and sleepovers that are full of memories we still lose our breath laughing about. During Morgan's trips home from college, I was always invited over for dinners at her parents house, even Cody was invited on her last trip home once her parents sold their home to move to Texas. Even through our distance as soon as we are together, it's like we were never apart. Looking forward to having her by my side.
Bridesmaid
Elly is the younger of Cody's twin sisters. She is always up for our adventurous plans whether it's a trip to Weller Hunting camp, or a fun day on the jetski. Elly and Gabby are the talented photographers responsible for our engagement photos, and we cannot thank them enough. We are so happy to have her by Erin's side on the big day.
Bridesmaid
Gabby, the older of Cody's twin sisters, is a pickleball fanatic. Expect a competitive match with strict rule following when she's on the court. She is, like her sister an animal lover, constantly pet sitting on top of their veterinary technician jobs. We are so excited to celebrate with her by Erin's side.
Flower Girl
Ryan, the younger Bickford sister has been ready to be our flower girl since Cody and Erin started dating. Erin and Shannon have babysat both girls since they were little and love their role as "big sisters" for our one and only successfully planned sister sleepover. Ryan nearly went through the roof skipping through her living room following the FaceTime announcing our engagement, so there is no one else we would want as our flower girl.
Junior Bridesmaid
Harper, the older Bickford sister is the perfect junior bridesmaid. She has been excitedly asking when we will get engaged and will she be in the wedding when it happens. She is a makeup artist and hairstylist in the making as she has been working on her craft since she was little. We cannot wait to have her by our sides.
Best Man
Mitchell is Cody's older brother. He can rival Erin in the words per minute department. Mitchell and Cody enjoy their mutual love for Weller Mountain Hunting camp and attempting to beat the team of Carson and Grampy at golf. (Some say a steak and lobster dinner is owed). Cody and Erin look forward to Mitchell's phone calls and East Road drop ins to help collect firewood, flatten mice, and provide good entertainment. We are so excited to have Mitchell as one of our Best Men.
Best Man
Carson is Cody's younger brother. Carson, lovingly nicknamed Bub, is an aspiring PGA tour member. You can find him any day the course is open rain, snow, or shine, in pants and a push cart, just like the pros, dialed in. Since we moved to Vermont, Carson has been a loyal Nebraska football and Creighton basketball fan, accompanying Erin to the local sports bar to cheer on the Huskers and Jays. We couldn't imagine our wedding day without Bub as a Best Man.
Groomsman
Noah is one of Cody's high school best friends. Nicknamed the minister, he married Chloe, another one of Cody's lifelong best friends in a 2023 ceremony with Cody as best man and Erin as the minister. They welcomed Bodie into the world last year, and we are excited to celebrate with their family of three.
Groomsman
Austin, nicknamed Dobie by their high school friend group has been a longtime best friend for Cody. Austin shares a love for skiing with Cody. He is sure to keep the group laughing with his humorous antics. Thanks for being a groomsman Austin.
Groomsman
Parker is another one of Cody's best friends. Cody and Parker have memorable hunting experiences together. Parker, married to Brittany, his high school sweetheart, is the father to ring bearer, Rhett. We love our time with them since moving up North and are excited to celebrate with them.
Groomsman
Nate, also nicknamed Dobie, is one of Cody's best friends since childhood. Nate has hosted Erin and Cody for their many trips back east over the years with lots of memorable experiences. Cody looks forward to returning the favor and acting as a groomsman for Nate when he marries Emily later this year.
Groomsman
Sal is Erin's one and only brother who finally completed the family circle by attending Creighton's law school, making him the last of our immediate family to become a Bluejay. Erin's favorite memories of Sal are cheering him on at his high school swim meets and watching him smile before he says something that is sure get a response from her. Sal is a beloved little brother, and we cannot wait to celebrate with him by Cody's side.
Junior Groomsman
Luke and Cody formed a special bond as soon as Cody was introduced to Erin's family. Erin got used to being greeted with not a hello, but a "where's Cody?" from Luke. From fishing, dirt biking, and Cody and Luke's big day celebrations, we couldn't ask for a better junior groomsman.
Ring Bearer
While celebrating our friends' wedding, we found out Rhett would soon enter this world. Little Rhett is such a cutie, and we take our duties as "Aunt Erin and Uncle Cody" seriously. We cannot wait to see him stroll down the aisle with our rings secured.
