A lot of our friends have kids, and we love the little ones! The biking weekend in Stowe and welcome party at the venue are kid-friendly, but we are asking that the wedding day be kid-free. If everyone brought their kids then we would have over 30 children running around, which would make it difficult for us all to have the debaucherous hoedown that we are aiming for.
The dress code is semi-formal. We would love for you to take advantage of the night to dress up, but we also want you to be comfortable.
The closest airport is in Burlington, VT. We have more details on the Travel page!
The venue is unpaved, and we will be walking a short way to the wooded ceremony site. You can wear heels at your own risk, and then kick them off later as you embrace your inner flower child.
75-85 deg, cool evenings. Might have rain, it’s unpredictable! Advise wearing light layers and comfortable shoes.
YES! We are planning a week of fun, optional events. Check out our Schedule and Things To Do pages
Our wedding is being held at Crofter's Green, a venue that is about 5 minutes away from the town of Montgomery Center and 10 minutes away from Jay Peak, a popular 4-season mountain. We have provided discount codes for Jay Peak Resort in the Travel/Lodging tab, and room block information for The INN in Montgomery Center. There are also tons of Air BnBs in the area to look through!
There is no cell service at the venue itself, but there is wifi. We recommend using WhatsApp or similar. There is cell service at nearby Montgomery Center and Jay Peak.
Yes! There will be parking available at the venue.
Not really… We are planning to offer shuttle service to local airBnBs and hotels in both Jay Peak and Montgomery Center.
Yeah, probably. But they mostly aren’t so bad at that time of year.
Since moving to the East Coast, we have fallen in love with Vermont. It has become our home away from home, and we would love to share that with all of our special people! Because this is essentially a destination wedding, we didn’t want people to feel stressed for time on top of a busy travel schedule. While Wednesday is perhaps the least orthodox day for a wedding, we have planned a fun series of events leading up to the day. That allows us to spend more time with our guests. We hope that you will take the opportunity to enjoy a vacation in Vermont with us!
