As a brand new nurse, Erin wasn’t always the fastest at discharging patients on a whim. Clayton and his partner Daniel arrived to the 7th floor at Zale Lipshy, stretcher in tow, anticipating a patient who was ready for pickup. Fortunately now, Erin had not even begun preparing the patient’s paperwork. This caused Clayton and his partner, whose truck had just been wrecked by a valet driver, to sit around and wait for two hours while doctors orders were met, instructions were typed, and discharge teaching was provided to the patient and family. Little did Erin and Clayton know at the time, this would lead to their happily ever after.
