The Invisible String Theory suggests that we are linked to the one we love by an intangible yet powerful bond. When the time is right, we are united. Christopher and Erin each spent childhood summer days roaming around Sea Girt Beach — Erin playing the “dollar game” under the boardwalk with her friends and Christopher building sandcastles with his siblings. The Loeber family visited Fayetteville, Arkansas, when Erin was a student at the University. The McGuinness family visited Portland and Kennebunk, Maine, when Christopher lived there for a summer internship. When Christopher moved to Los Angeles, California, Erin spent a week in the City of Angels for her cousin’s wedding. Christopher and Erin spent a lifetime crossing paths but never actually meeting. In April of 2024, Erin lost her beloved Papa. Feeling lost in grief, she said playfully over coffee with her best friend, “I hope my Papa sends me my husband.” A week later, she met Christopher. On their first date, Erin and Christopher bonded over their parents’ love stories, a shared passion for the Beatles, their writing careers, their childhood summer days, and the strange way they had been in Arkansas, Maine, and Los Angeles at the same time. They both knew they had met their person, and were grateful that the timing was just right.
