Like many modern love stories, ours started with a swipe — Bumble, to be exact (yes, those apps can actually work!). Our first date was at South Beach Bar & Grill in Ocean Beach, where we spent hours talking about all the things that lifted us up — our love for the ocean, being outside, music, and the close bonds we have with our friends and family, all over some fish tacos and a couple of margs or modelos. Safe to say, the connection was instant and we’ve pretty much been inseparable ever since. In the summer of 2021, we came full circle and moved in together, right in the beach town where it all began. OB has become such a special place for us. We love our little routines, whether it’s walking down for a post-work swim, discovering a new favorite food/coffee spot, or taking our dog out for a stroll along Sunset Cliffs. Carl came into our lives not long after we moved in (a very spontaneous but very worth-it decision) the golden retriever pup who has brought so much joy, laughter and fun-loving chaos into our lives. Whether we’re relaxing on the beach, spearfishing, hanging with friends or family, road-tripping to a new campsite, dancing at live shows, gardening in the front yard, cooking up a good meal, cheering on the Padres, or cozying up for a TV binge sesh — life always feels full, fun, and better when we’re together. We’re so excited to start this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most. Can’t wait to celebrate with you!
