Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, dinner and the reception will take place inside the barn.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Great question! Colorado can be very unpredictable. While Buena Vista tends to be warmer than Denver, May is a month that brings surprise storms. We recommend double checking the weather right before you travel, and packing for a little bit of everything. Layers are your friend!

Where should we park?

Answer

There is plenty of free parking on site at the Barn! However, please do not drink and drive and plan accordingly.

I'm concerned about the altitude, how can I prepare?

Answer

Buena Vista is located at 7,980 feet above sea level! If you are traveling from lower elevations, please drink plenty of water ahead of the trip and while you are here. You can consider spending a night in Denver (5,280 ft) to acclimate before making the drive.

Unfortunately, we only have room for the people on the invitation.
