For the smoothest trip to our big day, fly into the Eastern Iowa Airport (CID) in Cedar Rapids—it’s the closest airport to all the wedding fun! While you may not find many direct flights, it’s still the easiest and most convenient option. Just 29 minutes from the festivities, with a small, easy-to-navigate terminal (only two baggage claims!) and rental car options right outside the door. Fast, friendly, and stress-free—it’s even the airport where Erin knows all the TSA agents by first name. 😉 We’ll be ready to welcome you with open arms 💜

Chicago O'Hare International Airport

Want more direct flight options? You can fly into Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and take a straight shot west—about 3.5 hours—to the venue. It’s a bigger airport with plenty of flight choices, easy rental car pickup via short train shuttle ride, and a scenic drive through Midwestern farmland to get you in the mood for our countryside celebration. Consider it a little road trip to love! 💕

To Venue: 14min. (9.3 mi) via US-6 W The Avid Hotel is a great option if you’re looking for a comfortable stay with easy access to shopping and nearby attractions. While there isn’t much within walking distance, this location is just a short drive from Coral Ridge Mall, a large shopping center with plenty of stores, dining options, and entertainment. Other fun nearby options: • Squire Creek – A nice nearby spot for a hike and some gorgeous views over the lake • Costco – For… everything you could possibly need (or absolutely not need) • HomeGoods – Erin’s favorite store… enter at your own risk 😉 • Field Day Brewing – One of Erin & Brandon’s favorite local spots for great beer and a laid-back vibe • Red’s Alehouse – Near and dear to Brandon’s heart… he was the GM here for over six years, and it’s also home to Erin & Brandon’s cocktail of choice, the 405 • The Iowa Children's Museum – A great stop if you’re traveling with kids • A quick drive into Downtown Iowa City Pedestrian Mall for boutique shopping, restaurants, and people-watching
