We met in Prague, Czech Republic in July of 2017. We both had been invited to the wedding of Sam and Henry Guyler in Prague, and neither of us knew how those few days in a different country would change our lives. We noticed each other during the wedding ceremony but we didn’t start talking until after dinner that night. We spoke at the bar for a while where Brad was trying to convince Erin to dance. We had a great couple of hours together dancing the night away and then said goodnight (sort of, long story, thank you asthma). The next day the newlyweds put a boat trip on for the wedding guests. We got to talking again and seem to pick up where we left off. After the boat trip we walked to a beer garden overlooking the beautiful city of Prague. The weather was beautiful, the beer was cold and we both had the best day laughing and playing silly games. As the light faded we decided to go into Prague to enjoy the nightlife. After spending the whole day and night together, we both said that we felt something special. Brad was leaving the next day but we managed to grab coffee and a quick walk around Prague before we had to say our goodbyes. We said goodbye not knowing if we would ever see each other again. Two months later, Brad flew to Denver, CO to visit Erin and the rest is history.
Erin was over in England visiting Brad in July of 2018. They spent their trip exploring London, visiting friends, and enjoying time with Brad's family. On July 6th, 2018 they went out to dinner at The European Restaurant in Derby. They enjoyed their meal although Brad seemed very nervous and was very sweaty. After dinner, Brad led Erin to the rooftop lounge where they were brought some champagne. Brad then got down on one knee and neither one of us remember exactly what he said. He then asked Erin to marry him with his great grandmother's sapphire ring. Erin immediately said yes and the employees came upstairs with flowers and more champagne. It was a night that neither of us will soon forget (even if we can't remember what was said).
