Question

What are my transportation options to the wedding venue?

Answer

There is a parking lot at the farm for those who wish to drive. Note the road there is narrow and winding, the lot is gravel. One large shuttle will be provided from the Best Western & Hampton Inn. There is only one pick up and drop off time, if you miss it you are on your own. Ubers should be available to pick you up from the hotel, but will not be in the area of the wedding to take you back to the hotel.

What is the attire?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Suit jackets or ties not required but lets not wear Canadian Tuxedos. Please ladies (or anyone) DO NOT wear stiletto heels, the floors are 119 years old and can be damaged by that type of heel.

What type of food and drink will be at the wedding?

We will be having a full bar and a buffet dinner.

Tell me about the venue

Answer

The main feature of the 20-acre property is the 5,000-square-foot 118 year old bank barn with two beautiful levels completely renovated and restored allowing the natural beauty of years past to shine through. Weather permitting the ceremony will be outside along with the cocktail hour. Dinner and dancing will be inside the barn. If anyone needs assistance with getting from their car or the shuttle to the ceremony area there will be a golf cart for our use.

What is this after party?

Answer

We plan to head to Spankys in Leesburg which is about a mile from the hotels. There is no official event being held there so please do not feel obligated to go as it will be late night. However, if you are our CP friends then you must attend :) We will be on our own (Ubers/lyft) for transportation from Spankys to the hotels/home. https://www.spankyspub.com/
