Where is the ceremony?

Answer

We are getting married at Whispering Hearts at 7920 Wilmington Rd. in Oregonia, OH 45054. Once you arrive in the parking lot, you will walk around to the backside of the pond to arrive at the ceremony site. Following the ceremony, we will have a cocktail hour on the back porch of the venue by the pond and then will move indoors for dinner and dancing! Everything will happen on site of Whispering Hearts.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dressy Casual. We recommend a nice blouse with pants or skirt or a summer dress for women. For men, dress pants with button-down shirt or polo shirt will fit. We have a garden theme, so we would love to see your florals and pastel outfits!

Are children allowed?

Answer

Our wedding is RSVP only - our guest list is limited to those who are included in the RSVP form on this website. Thank you for your understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invite says “and guest,” yes! Otherwise, we can’t accommodate extra guests.

Will food be served?

Answer

Yes! Following the ceremony, we will have light snacks during the cocktail hour. Then we will be having a buffet barbecue from Sweets and Meats, a Cincinnati original! If you require a vegetarian meal, please note that on your RSVP. Desserts will be provided by Erin's home bakery, Wildflower Bakery.

Is there an open bar?

We will have an open bar with beer (including Erin's dad's homebrew!), wine, and limited liquors.

What accomodations are nearby?

Answer

Our venue is just off the highway, but out in the country! The closest hotels are roughly 13 miles away. Please see our Travel tab for two hotels that we have secured lower rates for through room blocks.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP on this very website! Just look for the RSVP tab at the top of the page and type in your name.

What time will the ceremony start? What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4. There is a roughly 5 minute walk from the parking lot to the ceremony site. Please give yourself enough time to get there and be seated before the ceremony starts. Following the ceremony, we will have a cocktail hour with snacks and drinks on the back patio. We will all move inside for the reception, dinner, and dancing!
