While on our free travel during the study abroad trip, we went to London, Paris, and Frankfurt. While in Paris, we HAD(!) to go to the Eiffel Tower together, go to the top, see the city, and watch the light show. Waiting for the perfect moment, I knew that it was getting late, both in the trip and in the day, so it was now or never. I had been carrying the ring with me nonchalantly in my bag, that Erin was worried about getting stolen, but had no idea what the extent of the contents were. I suggested that we take a selfie in front of the light display. Once we did that, I got down on one knee and stared up at Erin with the biggest eyes ever. I had the ring out and just knelt there in silence as Erin was tearing up with joy! After Erin had calmed down a little bit, I finally spat out the words, "Erin, will you marry me?". And she said "YES!!!". After, she said yes, we hugged and kissed, and everyone in the crowd applauded (*insert crowd noises*) in our success and happiness! - Benjamen Gramm
